Nature creates its own beautiful music. This violin was featured in a winter session. (Click hear to see the birds in action.) I couldn't wait to see it nestled among our spring blooms. Bleeding hearts multiply across our property every year. These beautiful blooms always life the heart. The violin, at about 12” long, is the ideal scale for photography. It’s a little larger than the bluebird yet still allows him to be the star.

In this quote, John Muir was talking about the American Dipper. This bird nests behind waterfalls. Before birth, the bird soaks up the music of the water.

Scribblings
