Riff-Raff was finished with the "same old" sound of the oak and elm. He much preferred the tinny reverb on metal siding. Windowpanes were a favorite. He would drum out a funky, off-beat groove, then freeze to admire his handsomeness. Now, he eyed the vintage tin. Perhaps this little cup held a new “signature sound”.

The Story Behind the Shot
This Swansdown Cake Flour cup never fails to charm me. I love the tactile feel of the raised lettering. Back in the day, it was a mail-in premium for saving box-lid coupons and a small amount of money. It’s the perfect container for a small, hand-picked bouquet of late-summer flowers. Tucked beside it is a tiny heart-shaped cookie cutter—part of a four-piece cookie cutter set my sister gave me back in 1970. My mom placed small heart shapes on top of homemade cherry pies. (Yum!) The simplicity of the white handkerchief helps draw the eye to the small heart-shaped detail.
