Their mothers were convinced that Java and Jitter were born under the same wild moon. Their feathers vibrated with energy and curiosity while chattering continuously. The tiniest amount of caffeine would turn them into frenzied feather-balls. It seems the local squirrels are already looking for cover.

The Story Behind the Shot
This tiny, four-inch working coffee grinder was a true "treasure of a find." It was scaled so perfectly for my feathered friends. I couldn't wait to see who would stop by for a morning brew. I never imagined I would be lucky enough to capture a "tufty" and a chickadee in the same frame! If you look closely at the Tufted Titmouse, you can see his claws gripped firmly to the handle—he truly looks like he’s putting his heart into the grind. I’ve always identified with the little Chickadee in this scene. He’s the dedicated taste-tester, waiting patiently to see if the results live up to the effort. With its warm tones and whimsical energy, this piece is the perfect focal point for a kitchen coffee bar.
