The Story Behind the Shot

Until I found this tin, I never knew that lard came in quaint little tin pails. It was bird-sized and was practically begging to hold flowers. I took the little pail to the Flower Shack near Terre Hill. A dear Mennonite lady and friend runs this small business. She grows her own blooms and picks them in the morning. Floral arrangements are made in the barn and sold from a lovely, quaint "shack". She did beautiful work job these "lizzies"!
