I often stumble upon little vintage objects in the most unusual places. These rusty hearts were originally arranged as a garland in a local craft store. I snipped off a pair of hearts and curled the wire ends around a pencil to add some fanciness. The hearts offered the perfect weathered aesthetic to hint at a story of love. The scene was kept simple, using just a few stalks of German statice to add softness. Many birds landed, but this perky little chickadee stole the show! He perched just long enough for me to capture this perfect, fleeting moment.
