Glorious spring sunshine splashed all over the earth. Reds, blues, and yellows sang a joyous melody. Tulips danced cheerfully while the lithodora and candy tuft softly giggled. And Ellwood soaked it all in.

The Story Behind the Shot
This shot captures a whimsical world hidden in a garden. The centerpiece is a tiny twig chair, a lucky find from a vintage shop. It is perfectly sized for a bird. The chair sits among what look like natural plants. Mossy branches and moss disguise their pots. Red and yellow tulips with bright blue lithodora generously splash the scene with vibrant colors. The highlight was a male downy woodpecker. He perched on the arm of the chair and looked as if he was mid-laugh.
